Cheapest skip hire was Liverpool where you can expect to pay £135 + VAT for an 8 yard builders skip but the same sized skip in London will set you back an extra £100 at £235 + VAT. It may seem obvious that London skip hire prices should be higher to cover the extra costs of labour and congestion charges, but £100 seems an awful lot of extra! Equally there are several other regions where the average price of an 8 yard skip is over £200 including Essex, Exeter, Luton and Southampton.
Prices exclude VAT. Full details of the survey are available here.
