We are looking to recruit a Team Leader to manage our busy Luton depot with a team of 5 collection crew and 3 trucks.

You will be a role model for the team, ensuring that our high standards of customer service are delivered every day. Most of your time will be spent out and about driving our trucks but there will be some administration work to be done back at the depot.
Duties include:
– driving our trucks
– clearing and disposing of junk
– interacting with customers
– maintaining our Luton depot premises
– liaising with dealers, charities & specialist facilities who reuse & recycle materials
– managing spare tools & equipment
– ensuring vehicle maintenance, compliance & regulatory standards are met (with support from HQ)
– recruiting & managing junk collection staff
– staff allocation, resource planning & training
Who we are looking for:
– a natural leader with the empathy, strength of character, and passion to inspire others
– managerial experience in a customer facing role
– strong interpersonal & communication skills
– ability to work under pressure / multitask / prioritise
– excellent administration and attention to detail, including basic Word & Excel skills
– fit and healthy with bags of energy and initiative
– C1 drivers license and minimum of 25 years old or more (for insurance purposes)
Package
– Basic salary £20k p.a. + up to £4k annual bonus
– Monday – Friday 07.00 – 17.00
– Based in Luton, Bedfordshire
– 22 days holiday + bank holidays
